Pedal Boat Cape Town

Enjoy a 30 min fun, pedal boat experience in the scenic serenity of the canals at the V&A Waterfront. Suitable for all ages, shapes and sizes.
- Group size: 2-6 per pedal boat.

- When it is very busy, we reserve the right to charge a minimum fee of R300 per boat.

- We are open whenever the weather is good from 9 to 5.
We allow limited online bookings, but mostly do walk ins. The afternoons get hectic so try and come earlier in the day.

Sunset Picnic:
Enjoy a romantic sunset pedal through the V&A Waterfront canals on one of our special pedal boats. The city scape and mountain views look spectacular as the daylight fades and the city light start shining. We fit small fairy lights to the pedal boats to create a bit of ambience and atmosphere. You can bring your own picnic, or order one from us. The picnic is suitable as a light dinner or a starter for two people. It comprises of:
– 125 gram salted Lays chips.
– 100 gram biltong (cured meat – a South African delicacy).
– fresh fruit.
– 110 gram nougat.
– 2 non-alcoholic drinks of your choice.
* Please note that you are not allowed to bring alcoholic drinks along.
** If you decide to bring your own picnic along, remember to make it easy to eat while you pedal and that you only have 45 min on the pedal boat. There is also a great lawn area next to the skate park to have your picnic before or after your pedal boat ride. The Spar at Cape Quarter has some delicious options for picnicking.
*** We have two slots. With the first one there is still some daylight and with the second one it gets a bit darker towards the end.
**** If the little ones insist to come along, you can add them as extras during the booking.
